This paper is one of the best ever published on the subject of Attrition (the modern term for this is Tooth Surface Loss) as it logically relates to a carefully thought out scheme of quantifying Attrition and its relation to Chronological Age (CA).
It enables the investigator to carry out a an Age Estimation using Attrition as a contributory variable. This can then be combined with DAE to improve the reliability of a Dental Age Estimate.
The thrust of this aspect of DAE is towards the 16 year and above age span. [ DAE How to Do It ]
